Jennie Biddinger Garver, 78, Woodsboro died at Emergency Hospital on Saturday, January 12, 1952 at 12:20 PM after an illness of one year.

Born in Frederick County, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Jane Eaves.

Jennie was a member of the former Church of God, Woodsboro.

Surviving are her children from a former marriage. Her daughters: Bertha Zimmerman of Braddock Heights and Marguerite Stambaugh of Washington; her sons: Roland Biddinger of Baltimore, David Biddinger of Gaithersburg, Earl and Grayson Biddinger of Libertytown, and Oscar Biddinger of Eoodsboro; her twenty-six grandchildren; her thirty-six great-grandchildren; her one great-great-grandchild; her five step-children; her sister: Carrie Kanode of Walkersville; and, her half-brother: Roy Morgan of Frederick.

Funeral Services were conducted on Tuesday, January 15, 1952 at 01:00 PM in the funeral home in Walkersville. Rev. Percy Stevens of Baltimore and Rev Harry C. Kotteler officiated. Mrs. Durward W. Kettels and Rev. Kotteler sang: "The Old Rugged Cross."

Services were largely attended and there were many floral tokens.

Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased: Elmer, Donald, Edgar, and Ray Biddinger, Leo Bowers, and William Stambaugh, Jr.

Interment in Union Chapel Cemetery, Libertytown.
