Mrs. Gaskins was born August 30, 1906 in Berrien County, the daughter of William Samuel and Maude Turner Bradford. She was a homemaker and retired nurse's aid and was the oldest living member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Frances Rowe of Alapaha and Gloria Ferrell of Peachtree City; one son, Albert Harvey Gaskins of Jacksonville, FL; one niece, Dessa King of Nashville; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hardie Gaskins, who died August 8, 1953 and a daughter, Estill Irene Gaskins, who died in February of 1934. The late W. S. Bradford, Jr. of Ocilla was Mrs. Gaskins' nephew.
Funeral services were helf at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Interment was in St. Luke Cemetery.
Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville was in charge of the arrangements.
