Mabel Melvina Gee was the daughter of Orrin Gee (1839-1891) and Martha (Cook) Gee (1842-1881). Mabel married Edward Francis Gee on 17 Aug 1892 at Imlay City, Shiawassee County, Michigan; the two were 2nd cousins. Edward's father, the Rev Alexander Gee, performed the marriage. Five children were born of their marriage: Edward Artley Gee (1893-1957), Wendell Philip Gee (1895-1960), Russell Lowell Gee (1897-1965), Frances Martha (Gee) Laing (1901-1932), and Florence Mary (Gee) Boysen (1905-1987).
