Sarah Anderson Martin, 88 yrs old, died Wednesday March 22nd, 1989 in a local nursing home.
Services will be held at 12 pm Friday in Sharon Cross Road United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Sharon Cross Road Church Cemetery. The Reverend Enoch S. Finklea will officiate.
A native of Ben Hill County, South Carolina. Mrs Martin was the daughter of James Madison Horne and Emma Pope Horne of Wilcox County, georgia. She was a retired employee of Mount Vernon Mills and a member of Sharon Cross Road United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Louise Tucker and Bessie McGlamory, both of Macon Georgia; a son, James C Etheridge Sr of West Columbia, South Carolina. Two sisters Mary Frances Fannie Horne Carter and Mrs. Dora L Horne Winters both of Moultrie, Colquitt County, Georgia and a brother John Henry Horne of Bradenton, Manatee County, Florida. She was predeceased by both parents and one brother William Redden Horne of Moultrie, Colquitt County, Georgia.
Thompson Funeral Home in West Columbia is in charge of funeral arrangements.
