Elizabeth Kyzar passed away February 9, 1989. She was born December 31, 1904, the first child of Joe & Annie McGuffie Kyzar in Lawrence County, Mississippi.


In 1926, Elizabeth (Sis) married widower, Robert Ham who had five young sons under the age of ten years old. She became their mother and raised them all to adulthood. After her husband Robert was killed, ten years later she married his brother, Dock Ham, also a widower. She never had any biological children.


She was of the Pentecostal faith. Aunt SIs was a very jovial person who always had a big smile for everyone. Never driving or owning a car, she was always dependent on someone to carry her wherever she went. She loved dressing up with her little accessories of pins and brooches.


Preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Robert H. Ham and Dock Ham, three sons, Cecil Ham, J.T. Ham and Willie Ham; three brothers, Louis, Kyzar, Bill Kyzar, and Tom Kyzar; and three sisters, Jessie, Beatrice Lambert and Ottie Mae Smith.


Survived by two sons, Emory (Donis) Ham of Jayess, and Ed (Dorothy) Ham of Smithdale, MS.; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.


Interment was in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Jayess, MS.
