Spotted Fever Claims Rancher
Ira Thomas Williams Dies at Hysham Wednesday
Ira Thomas Williams, 66, rancher, died at his home at Hysham early Wednesday morning following a two-week illness due to spotted fever.
Born in Virginia City Feb. 28, 1869, Mr. Williams had been n resident of the state all his life. He formerly lived In the Gallatin valley near Bozeman where he had a stock ranch. His home was at Hysham since 1919.
Mr. Williams married Miss Margaret Conlon, now deceased, in 1891.
He is survived by seven children, a brother, Paul Williams of Lodge Grass and 12 grandchildren. The children are Jack Williams of Mason City, Wash., Mrs. Chad Brown of Bozeman, Mrs. John Howard of Yakima, Wash., and Con, Gene, Margaret and Anita, all of Hysham.
Services and interment will be at Hysham on Thursday.

Ira Thomas Williams, 66, rancher, died at his home at Hysham early Wednesday morning following a two-week illness due to spotted fever.
