Claire Monteith Shepherd
LEONE MONTEITH BONE, 66, wife of Walter G. Bone of 1320 Locust St., Indiana, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1970, at the Indiana Hospital.
Born Aug 28, 1904, in Patton, she was a daughter of St. Clair and Sue Spangle Monteith.
She was a member of the Calvary UP Church, Indiana, OES Eastern Star Chapter 183 and the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, No. 29, both of Johnstown.
Mrs. Bone had taught in Conemaugh and Prince George County Schools in Maryland for almost 50 years until her retirement two years ago.
Surviving are her husband and mother, both at home: four sisters: Mrs. Robert E. (Mildred) Graham, Newville: Mrs. Howard S. (Louise) Evans, Harrisburg: Mrs. Ralph E. (Viola) Beck, Indiana: and Mrs. W. J. (Claire) Shepard (sic), Ellwood City.
Friends will be received at Robinson - Lytle's, Indiana, today for 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the Rev. John L. Kipp, TD, will conduct services Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be made in Fairview Cemetery, Patton.
