MRS. MARY LIL HAGAN DIES AT NEW HAVEN, BURIAL WAS MONDAY - Mrs. Mary Lil O'Bryan Hagan, 72, died Friday, June 14, at four p.m. at her residence in New Haven, after a five weeks' illness of diabetes. The body was at Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven. Funeral services were held Monday morning, June 17, at ten o'clock at St. Catherine Church with Rev. Fabian Ayers, Louisville, Mr. Hagan's nephew, officiating. Interment followed in St. Catherine Cemetery. Mrs. Hagan is survived by her husband, Joe V. Hagan, a retired distillery worker, seven sons and two daughters; Earl, Paul, Jessie and J. V. Hagan, all of New Haven, Leon, Mike and Hugh Hagan, Louisville; Mrs. Evelyn Clayton, Holy Cross and Mrs. Margaret Bryan, New Haven; 52 grandchildren, one of whom, Billy Hagan was reared by his grandparents; a brother, Albin O'Bryan, New Haven; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Hagan and Mrs. Mattie O'Bryan, both of Louisville. Pallbearers were nephews: Robert, T. J., Leo, Charles, Allen and Charles Woods O'Bryan.
