He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Virgil Hagan, Sr. and Mary Lillian O'Bryan Hagan, his brothers, Earl, Jessie, Paul, Hugh, Leon, and Mike Hagan, and his sisters, Margaret Bryan and Evelyn Clayton.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Earl Hagan (Debbie) of Louisville, along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the National Cemetery, Lebanon, Ky.
