Mr. Nunamaker, 71, died Thursday at his home.
Born in Irmo, he was a son of the late Olin and Lizzie Eubanks Nunamaker. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Farm Bureau. Mr. Nunamaker was a nurse's assistant and a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Branchville Men's Business League.
Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Helen Stubbs Nunamaker, a son, James D. Nunamaker of North Augusta, two daughters, Mrs. Rena Kelly of Beaufort and Mrs. Ruth Hiers of Charleston, two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Derrick and Mrs., Sara Looney of Irmo, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Nunamaker was predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Sybil Nunamaker Koon of Irmo and three brothers, Henry Grady, Frank Perry and Mark Carlisle Nunamaker all of Irmo.
