Ellen M. Young, 83, passed away October 7, 2001 at her home in Oklahoma City. She was born March 8, 1918 in Ensign, KS.
She is preceded in death by her son, Mark; and four brothers and one sister. Ellen is survived by her husband of 63 years, C. Irvin of the home; son, Gale and wife Dorrie of Los Angeles, CA; daughter Judy Jones and husband Jack of Oklahoma City; brother Clarence Joy of WA; grandchildren Tony, Marcine, GaLela, Leisa, Angela, Chris, Rusty, and Scott; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, October 10, 2001, at the MacArthur Free Methodist Church, 6000 N. MacArthur, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
