Funeral services for Kelma Albritton Bridges, age 91, of Dubach will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 25, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Dubach, LA.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time. Officiating the service is Rev. Mike Anderson.

Interment will follow at Liberty Hill-Taylor Cemetery in Farmerville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mrs. Bridges was born on September 22, 1920 in Farmerville, LA and passed away on June 22, 2012 while living at The Village Health Care, at The Glen in Shreveport, LA.

Mrs. Bridges and her husband, Ervin, were members of First Baptist Church for over 50 years.

She worked at Tatum's Department store in Dubach for 25 years and loved all the people that shopped there. She always had a loving smile on her face. This loving smile will remain in our hearts forever.

Mrs. Bridges was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Ervin; her parents, Jesse and Annie Albritton; son, Johnny; three sisters; and one brother.

Mrs. Bridges is survived by her daughter, Roxie Downing and husband Jerry of Shreveport, LA; daughter-in-law, Debra Bridges; grandsons, Trey Roberson, Ted Bridges; granddaughters, Cathy Brown and husband Mike, Karen Boggs; great grandsons, Andy, Jonathan , and Michael; nieces, Peggy Gavin, Judy McCready, and nephew Jackie Neal.
Pallbearers will be Trey Roberson, Andy Tripp, Jonathan Tripp, Michael Smith, Chuck Mullins, and Greg Gavin.

The family wishes to thank the staff, nurses, doctors, and all the aides at The Glen for their love and care given for almost 12 years.

We would also like to thank Harmony Life Hospice nurses Jackie, Julie, Charlotte, and Chaplin Frank for their loving care and compassion shown to Mrs. Bridges and her family.
