Dennis M. Jenkins, Sr., 79, of Alligator, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. Mr. Jenkins was a member of the Fellowship class at Oakhurst Baptist Church.

Dennis M. Jenkins, Sr. is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Ollie Cockrell Jenkins, brothers, James Travis Jenkins, Joe Edd Jenkins, Thomas Isadore and sister, Hazel Hogue. He is survived by his wife, Eloise Howell Jenkins, daughter, Ollie Katherine Denise Jenkins Hallmon, sons, Dennis M. Jenkins, Jr., and John Timothy Jenkins, sister, Martha Ann Dacus, brothers, Hershel Jenkins, John Gaynus Jenkins, Charles Lindberg Jenkins, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation Services for Mr. Jenkins will be Saturday, June 23, 2012 at National Funeral Home, in Clarksdale, MS., from 6:00 p.m. til 8 p.m. Services will be at 4:00 p.m. at Oakhurst Baptist Church with burial following in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Cause of Death: Cancer
