Stephen "Stevie" Charles Ferguson, 47, of Bassett, VA died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at his home.

Born on May 17, 1961 in Martinsville, VA, he was a son of Louis Ferguson of Collinsville, VA and Josephine Cannaday Ferguson of Martinsville, VA.

Mr. Ferguson attended Fairview Baptist Church and had worked for Comcast as a cable installer.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his three sisters, Pam Southworth, Houston, TX, Susan Wickline of Fieldale, VA and Robin Hutchinson of Martinsville, VA; one brother, Daryl Ferguson of Martinsville, VA; five nieces; one nephew and one great niece.
