CORA L. ARMSTRONG
Mrs. Cora L. Armstrong 90, 2634 Third Ave., died Wednesday at a local hospital after an extended illness.
Born in Henry Co., Mo., she had resided in Council Bluffs since 1918. Mrs. Armstrong was the widow of Frank V. Armstrong, who died in 1936. She was a member of Westminster United Church .
Survivors include:
Five Daughters, Mrs Evelyn Britt of Eugene, Ore., Mrs Frank (Kate) Richwine of Mora, Mo., Mrs. Flora Myers and Mrs Walter (Edra) Alexander, both of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Floyd (Louise ) Stevens of Denver, Colo.
Two sons, Alvin of Redwood Falls, Minn., and Frank of Council Bluffs; brother Elisha Smith of Clinton, Mo.; 30 grandchildren, 100great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the Meyer Chapel. The Rev. John Gill, pastor of Westminster Church will officiate. Internment will be a Memorial Park Cemetery.
