Albert Hull Camp was born to James Harrison Camp and Mary Beaty Camp on September 23rd 1864. in Walton County Georgia. He was born during the Civil War.as s a result of his father being sent home from active service in the war to recover from his wounds. The family moved to Floyd County shortly after the death of his 11 year old brother Jackson Bartow Camp #610838771873 in 1872. He met and later married Jessie Lumpkin on March 6th 1890 in Floyd Co., Georgia. He was a farmer they lived in the Livingston area until moving in town to Rome on Calhoun Rd. later in life. Together they had eight children, three boys and five daughters. They were active members of the Rome 1st Methodist Church all their lives.
