Marie Melancon married Moise Prevost on 11 Dec. 1893 and was the mother of 10 children. She died sometime after the birth of her last child which was on July 12, 1913 and before 1919. We think she died of the flu. We know she is buried in Louisiana but at this time have not been able to find her grave. Her parents were Onezime Melancon and Philomene Marie Trahan Melancon.
