ANAHUAC - Laura Belle Choate, 78, died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Galveston.
Services will be Friday at Sterling Funeral Home in Baytown
Burial will be at Anahuac Cemetery.
Born March 11, 1910, in CrowJey, La., Mrs. Choate was a retired saleswoman at the Smart Shop in Anahuac.
Survivors include her husband, C.W. Choate; three daughters, Jeannette Wiggins of Anahuac,
Pearl McKenna of Galveston and Emilie Vongleton of Wallisviile; a brother, Austin Prevost of Houma, la.; a sister, Melba January of Houma; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
