Was born October 16, 1917 in Springville, Utah to Shipton Orchard and Minnie Bell Mason Oakey. She died January 16, 2011. She was raised in a loving family, with sisters Lula, Allean, Grace, and brother Glen.

She married Glen LaMar (Doc) Johnson November 18, 1935 in Provo, Utah. They made their home in Springville where they had five children: Connie, Evelyn, Sharlene, Bill, and Bob and one stillborn. Sharlene died in infancy. LaMar preceded her in death September 2, 1988.

They family moved to Fremont, California in 1955 where she lived until ill health brought her to Utah to be with family. She loved her children, grandchildren, playing the organ, crocheting, bowling, bingo and the As.

At her request, a graveside service will be held Friday, January 21, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
