Son of Alexander W. Roberts and Barbara Brunnemer, husband of Florence S. Katzenmayer.

Obituary - Frederick Alexander Roberts, aged 62, died Sunday at his home on Kennedy Avenue, Blue Point, after an illness of several weeks. Born in Brooklyn, he had lived in Blue Point for the past 37 years, and was a foreman in the Blue Point Oil Company.

He was financial secretary of the Blue Point Fire Department; treasurer of the Blue Point Fire District; an organizer and past president of the Blue Point Republican Club; Republican Committeeman in the Blue Point election district; past president of the Men's Society-Voters of the Emanuel Lutheran Church of Patchogue, and a councilman of the church; a member of Betty Stark council, Sons and Daughters of Liberty, of Patchogue, and a member of the Newtown Fire Department Exempts of Queens.

Mr. Roberts leaves his wife, Mrs. Florence Katzenmayer Roberts, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Klinger, both of Blue Point.

The Betty Stark Council, the Blue Point Fire Department and the Men's Society-Voters held special services Tuesday evening at the Roberts home. Final rites were held at 2 p.m. yesterday at the home, the Rev. Carl G. Gernannt, pastor of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.
