Claude Bascom Donithan,
widow of Carolyn Sue Orme Donithan, passed away Sunday. He was an 86 year old native of Bath County, son of the late Claude and Iva Mae McClain Donithan, an Army veteran of WWII, a retired Cowden Manufacturing employee after 44 years, and a member of the Christian Assembly of God Church. He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Vance of Mt. Sterling, 6 sons, Larry (Karen) Donithan of Richmond, Tony (Teresa) Donithan and Donnie (Martha) Donithan, of Mt. Sterling, Steve (Aracely) Donithan of Shang Hi, China, Garney (Robin) Donithan of Owingsville and Rick (Susie) Donithan of Winchester, 23 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 sisters, Ella Yarber and Ada Goodpaster, both of Mt. Sterling, Pearl Jackson of North Middletown, Deloris Lewis and Farris Turner, both of Richmond, Indiana. His funeral will be 10:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8:00 Tuesday
