Donna P. Hively, 89, of Pierceton, Indiana, died on 1/10/2011 at 7:50 pm at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, In. She was born on October 25, 1921 in Miami County, Indiana.
Donna was the daughter of Floyd and Lulu (Yarian) Hartzler. She was raised by her Aunt Bina Hartzler Misener after her mother passed away when Donna was 7 weeks old.
She moved to Kosciusko County in 1930. In 1951, she married Lloyd Hively in Louisville, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2002.
Donna was a homemaker as well as serving on the County Fair Board and serving as Past President and Past Treasurer with Sunshine Extension Homemakers. She was also a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, Warsaw.
She raised and showed National Champion Rambouille Sheep and Collie Dogs.
Donna is survived by 3 Sons; Bruce Hively, Pierceton
Doug Hively, Dallas, Oregon
William Jerry Frush, Warsaw
1 Daughter; Karel Mulcahy, Pearland, Texas
9 Grandchildren
19 Great Grandchildren and
1 Great-Great Grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by 1 Brother and 1 Granddaughter.
Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:30 am with Pastor Kenn Freeland officiating.. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Thursday, January 13, 2011. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
