Sheryl "Sheri" Davis-Lechot -- Sheri Davis-Lechot passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012 at home with family by her side. Born on November 2, 1950 in San Francisco, CA, she was the daughter of Eleanor (Jensen) and William Davis. She graduated from Leigh High School, San Jose, Ca. in 1968. Sheri had worked for Thurston County Medic One as an Office Manager, and cherished the many close friends she made there. She enjoyed reading, making jewelry, genealogy and spending time with her family. She married her one true love, Warren Edward "Eddie" Lechot in 1978. He preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by her son, Chuck (and wife, Stephanie) Baxter of Sandy, OR; daughter, Erin (and husband, Michael) Romero of Goodyear, AZ; two brothers and their wives, Dave and Tammy Davis of Olympia, Bill and Kathy Davis of Pleasanton, CA; her mother, Eleanor Cummings of Olympia and five grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her father, William Davis and step-father, Stanley Cummings. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 1pm at the Fire Station in Tenino. A private graveside service will take place at Forest Grove Cemetery in Tenino. Memorial contributions may be made to any local food bank.
