Agnes J. Ahlswede, 84, Ashland, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at Court Manor Health and Rehabilitation Services in Ashland. She was born July 31, 1915, in the Town of Borton, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Mollie (Wilson) Culvertson.
She married Herbert W. Ahlswede on Nov. 11, 1950, in Glidden. Agnes was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Ashland.
She is survived by two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert; two brothers, Ralph and Wayne Culvertson; and a sister, Delta Gilreath.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Frost Home for Funerals, Ashland, with Father Conan Mitchell, O.F.M. officiating.
Interment will take place in the St. Agnes Cemetery, Ashland.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
