Mrs. Harvey Kremke
PORTER -- Services for Mrs. Harvey (Lola M.) Kremke, 74, of 25 Franklin St., who died Friday at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carl Edmonds Funeral Home, Chesterton, with the Rev. Richard Lydon officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Visitation is to 9 p.m. today. The family requests memorials to the Heart Fund or North Porter County Ambulance Commission.
Born in Indianapolis Feb. 8, 1905, a daughter of Carl and Mary E. (Cooper) DeHaven, Mrs. Kremke was married Aug. 29, 1925. Her husband preceded her in death. She was a member of the First United Church and FOE 2513.
Survivors include four sons, Howard of DeMotte, John of South Haven, Robert of Porter and Harvey of Rolling Prairie; two daughters, Mrs. John Kipper of Chesterton and Mary Miller of Olathe, Kan.; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Crise and Mrs. Harold Johnson, both of Valparaiso and Mrs. Alvin Thorn of Palisades, Minn.; and a brother, Harold DeHaven of Lake Station.
