Amelia Lilly Heberer (sic), 96, a resident of Manitowoc Health Care Center, Manitowoc, formerly of Reedsville, died Saturday, October 17, 1987 at the Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Rev. David Kipfmiller will officiate with burial to follow at Westside Cemetery, Reedsville.

Mrs. Heberer was born March 29, 1891 at New Fane, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Wilhelm and Emma Meilahn Buss. She married Louis Heberer on August 15, 1926 at New Fane. Mrs. Heberer was a member of St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville and the Ladies Aide.

Survivors include a step daughter and step son-in-law, Doris and Elroy Stueck of Reedsville; five step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, June 2, 1946, two step great grandchildren and three sisters.

Friends may call at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville, after 10 am Tuesday and until the hour of service. Wieting-Schneider Funeral Home, Reedsville, is in charge of arrangements.
