MARLENE VOELTZ
Marlene Ann Voeltz, age 56, of 19831 Taus Road, Reedsville, passed away Wednesday,
September 7, 1994, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 1994, at St.
John-St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Rev. David Kipfmiller will officiate
with burial in the West Side Cemetery, Reedsville.
She was born February 8, 1938, in Green Bay, daughter of Lenora (Poor) Pittner and
the late Alvin Pittner. She married William R. Voeltz on October 2, 1966, in Shirley,
Wis. Marlene farmed with her husband in the town of Maple Grove. She was a member
of St. John-St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville and also a member of the Ladies
Aide.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lynnette and Paul Gamble, Beloit;
three sons and one daughter-in-law, William Voeltz, Todd and Melinda Voeltz, all
of Reedsville, Robert Voeltz, Beloit; six grandchildren, Tyree, Terrell and Tevin
Gamble, Todd, Tabitha and Thomas Voeltz; her mother, Lenora Pittner, Reedsville.
She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Ida Voeltz, Reedsville; one brother-
in-law and sister-in-law, Edwin and Barbra (sic) Voeltz, Reedsville. She was
preceded in death by her husband, William, September 30, 1983.
Friends may call at the Weiting Funeral Home, Reedsville, from 6-10 p.m. Friday
and then at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
