Florence J. Behnke, 56, of Route 2, Reedsville, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 13, 1986, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Rev. Harlyn Kuschel will officiate and burial will be in Westside Cemetery.
Mrs. Behnke was born June 9, 1930 at Chilton, daughter of the late George and Ella Loose Behnke. She married Lloyd Behnke on April 14, 1951, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hilbert. She farmed with her husband in the Town of Rockland.
Mrs. Behnke was a member of St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Anita of Rt. 2, Reedsville and Donald and Lynne of Rt. 1, Seymour; two daughters
and a son-in-law, Nancy and Rick DeGrand of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Darlene at home; her stepmother, Mrs. Ruth Behnke of rural Hilbert; a brother and sister-in-law, Janice and George Schroeder of Hilbert and Mrs. Dorothy Zuelke of rural Hilbert; seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, 4 pm to 9 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday from 8 am to 10:30 am and then at the church from 11 am at the time of services.
