Germaine B. Lau, age 76, of 208 CTH W., Reedsville, passed away Friday evening,
June 4, 1993, at the North Ridge Care Center, Manitowooc (sic), following a
lengthy illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John St. James Luthern (sic)
Church, Reedsville, the Rev. David Kipfmiller officiaitng (sic) and burial in the
Westside Cemetery Reedsville.
She was born May 13, 1917, in the Town of Cato daughter of the late Frank and
Clara Zipperer Riederer. She was married to Edwin Lau on October 24, 1940, at
Manitowoc. She was employed as a nurses aide at the Holy Family Memorial Medical
Center, Manitowoc. She was a member of St. John St. Jame's Lutheran Church,
Reedsville, the Ladies Aide, and the Collins Homemakers.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin; a special friend Dale Christel Jr., Reedsville;
six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Marian and Lester Bartz, Newton, Jeanette Novak,
Reedsville, Margaret and Frank Kopidlansky, Taus, Esther and Joe Krejcarek, Janesville,
Lydia and Edward Paul, Manitowoc, Ludmilla and Raymond Zaruba, Maribel; one brother
and two sisters-in-law, Florian and Beverly Riederer, Fond du Lac, and Marcella
Riederer, Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by three infant sisters and four
brothers.
Friends may call at St. John St. Jame's Lutheran Church, Reedsville on Monday from
11 a.m. until the time of services. The Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville is assisting
the family with funeral arrangements.
