Her Obituary-Mrs. Ellen Murphy, Aged Resident, Is Called To Rest.
Mrs. Ellen Murphy, aged 88, widow of Patric Murphy, died Wednesday evening at 6:30 o’clock in the St. Nicholas hospital.
She was born in Massachusetts on December 25, 1842, and two years later came to Sheboygan county with her parents, who settled in the town of Mosel. She was married to Patric Murphy of Osmond, town of Meeme, and the couple made their home on a farm near Osmond for about ten years and then came to this city.
Mrs. Murphy is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dennis Leahy, this city and Mrs. Frank Ahrens of Milwaukee; a brother, William Leahy of Milwaukee; eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Cornell of Manitowoc.
The funeral services will be held Friday morning at 8:30 o’clock at the Ramm Funeral Home and at 9 o’clock at the Holy Name Church. The Rev. Philipp Dreis will officiate and burial will be made in Calvary cemetery. Friends are kindly requested to omit flowers.
