MEDLOCK, Jewell H. age 103, departed this life on June 7, 2012. Shhe is preceded in death by her loving husband, Guy Emory Medlock, daughters, Murta Smith and Clara Robbins; son, Bud Medlock. She is survived by her daughters, Eunice Bazzle and Margaret Philhower; daughter-in-law, Mary Medlock and grandchildren; 35 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church, as well as an active participant in their daycare program. Family was always first in her life and she will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Larry Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
