"Former Tryonville Man Dies in Bellefonte - John W Hunt, aged 50, died at Bellefonte at
1 pm Sunday. He was born at Tryonville on March 27, 1886, the son of Albert and Isabelle Hunt. He was a World war veteran, serving 18 months overseas. He leaves his wife, who resides in Titusville, and the following children, Joseph, Harry, Paul and Merle, at home. He also leaves the following brother and sisters: Mrs Peter Decker of Hydetown; Mrs Harry Kent of Oil City; Mrs Clair Lewis and Mrs Roy Loker of Titusville; Mrs Fina Howe of Jamestown, NY; and Norris Hunt of Tryonville. The body will be brought to the home of his sister, Mrs Clare Lewis, 940 East Main street, today, from which place services in his memory will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday. Interment will be in the Tryonville cemetery."
