Karen R. “Bess” Frye, 31, 937 Arter, died Thursday at a Topeka hospital. Cause of death was unavailable. No autopsy was scheduled.
She was born May 13, 1947, in Topeka, where she live all of her life. She was presently employed as a claims specialist for MFA Insurance.
She was graduated in 1965 from Topeka High School and was a member of the Meriden United Methodist Church.
Her father, Clifford “Pinky” Finch, died on March 13, 1975.
Survivors include her mother, L. Maxine Finch, 1899 Burgess Court; a daughter, Amber K. Frye, at home; and a sister, Carol M. Longstaff, 1300 Oakland.
Services are pending at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
