At 10 o'clock this morning occurred the death of Elmer Hollensbee [sic], one of the best known traveling men in the state. The death occurred at his home, corner of New York and Sixth Streets, after an illness of but two weeks. Typhoid fever was the immediate cause of his death. Mr. Hollensbee was at one time traveling for the Pottlitzer house, but before his death had traveled for the Wagner Confectionery company. The deceased leaves a wife and three sons, Louis, Frank, and Harold to mourn his loss. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and within his circle of friends was very well liked. He had a personal charm that won for him many friends, and they will regret to learn of his death.
