Harry O."Dutch"Kercher,84,died Wednesday at 7:45 a.m.in his Reading R.D.4.residence. He was the husband of Edna C.(Faust)Kercher. Born in Muhlenberg Township,he was a son of the late Ambrose and Lillie M.(Hart)Kercher. Kercher was employed by the Reading Bus Co.,for 27 years in the maintenance department,retiring in 1972. A member of Zion (Spice)Lutheran Church,Alsace Township,he was a past financial secretary and a church councilman for 23 years. Other survivors include a daurghter,Doris E.,wife of Maurice K.Currey,Wilmington,Del.;a sister,Bertha,widow of Heber Snyder,Shoemakersville;and three brothers:Paul,West Lawn;Elmer,Mount Penn;and Amos,Reading. There also are a grandson and two great-grandchidren. The Daniel R.Christ Funeral Home,Oley,is in charge of arrangements.
