Carolyn Sue McCombs, 75, of Tulsa passed from this life Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Tulsa. She was born January 10, 1937 in Stillwater the daughter of Everett and Georgia (Majors) Quimby.
Carolyn graduated Daniel Webster High School in 1955. She was a homemaker and enjoyed painting and ceramics. She was a member of the Carbondale Assembly of God Church.
Carolyn married Jearl Dean McCombs in Tulsa on January 21, 1956. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2010 after 54 years of marriage.
Her survivors include daughter; son and wife; six grandchildren and spouses; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for 8 am – 8 pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 with family present to greet visitors between 5 pm and 8 pm. A graveside service is scheduled for 10 am, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home.
