Mrs. Catherine Clark, an Insane Patient Succumbs to Her Malady.
Mrs. Catherine Clark, died at the asylum Wednesday and was buried in the asylum cemetery yesterday. Mrs. Clark is the woman whose husband was killed in a mine accident at Tombstone a short time ago. The shock unbalanced her mind and she became so violent that it was necessary to bring her to the asylum.
James McLaughlin, of Lindale, Wis., a brother of the poor woman, whom she had not seen for thirty years, came out to pay his sister a visit and when he arrived at Tombstone heard for the first time of the sad accident. He came on to Phoenix about a month ago and has been with his sister most of the time since. He speaks very highly of the asylum management and wishes to express his thanks to Mr. and Mrs. G.B. Wilcox and to Dr. and Mrs. L.C. Toney for the interest taken by her in his unfortunate sister's welfare. He says he was never better treated in his life than while at the asylum during his sister's illness.
