Thomas Elmer Johnson, 74, Nancy, died Wednesday at his residence.

He was born in Pulaski County on Feb. 3, 1900, the son of Coleman and Polly Mills Johnson, both deceased.

He married the former Clara Dye on December 25, 1919.

Survivors include five children, Everett Johnson, New Orleans, La., Ernest Johnson, Nancy, Ray Johnson, Somerset, Kathleen Dalton, Nancy, and Maxine Weddle, Princeton, Ind.; two sisters, Zona Vaughn, Somerset, and Myrtle Vaughn, Decatur, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was a farmer and a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company with Rev. Cecil Roundtree and Rev. Charles Woodcock officiating.

Burial will be in the Piney Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking after 5 p.m. today.
