Mrs. Lucindo Fabbri
Eckhart - Mrs. Benilda Fabbri, 84, died Monday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, shortly after being admitted.
Born in Forli, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Carolina (Zanni) Castellani and the last surviving member of her immediate family. She came to Eckhart from Italy in 1906. Her husband, Lucindo Fabbri, died in 1945. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Sodality.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Michael Arnone, Frostburg; six sons, Olivio Fabbri, Eckhart; Oliver Fabbri, Frostburg; Anthony Fabbri, Frazil, Ind.; Raymond Fabbri, Tampa, Fla.; John Fabbri, Mt. Savage, and Francis Fabbri, Cresaptown;
28 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Requiem mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Valenzano, Norman Gaudio, Enardo Arnone, Peter Pratt, Carl Ruffo and William Martirano.
A Christian wake service will be held today at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
