Mrs. Blanche M. Pryor, 86, Bartlesville, Okla., formerly of Independence, died Sunday at a hospital in Bartlesville. She was born in Atherton, Mo., and had lived in Independence before moving to Bartlesville in 1978. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Independence. She was a Red Cross volunteer, a member of the Independence Sanitarium Auxiliary, and past president of the Navy Mother's Club of Independence and the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Independence. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Heinrich, Bartlesville, and Mrs. Betty Case, Cleveland; a son, Roy A. Pryor, Colmesneil, Texas; a brother, Garland Hifner, Buckner in Jackson County; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Ott & Mitchell Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the Blanche Pryor Memorial Fund at the church.
