Mr. Glenn C. Stull, 82 of 9803 Hansonville Rd., Frederick, died Sunday, Jan 31, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Evelyn E. Shoemaker Stull who died in 1985.
Born Aug. 3, 1905, in Frederick County, he was son of the late Harry C. and Lottie Ramsburg Stull.
Mr. Stull was a member of the Farmers Coop., Frederick, and was a sports enthusiast. He was a member of the Yellow Springs baseball team for several years. He was a 1924 graduate of Frederick High School and a 1929 graduate of Maryland State Normal School, presently known as Towson State University. After graduating from college Mr. Stull taught school in Frederick County for eight years. Following his teaching career, Mr. Stull farmed in the Hansonville area until retiring.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Glenna) Crutchley of Frederick, Mrs. James (Pat) Crosby of Thurmont; one sister, Mrs. Harry S. (Mary) Cramer of Frederick; one half brother, Harry (Pete) Stull of Frederick; one half-sister, Mrs. Frank (Miriam) Scott of Frederick; seven grandchildren, William J. Offutt III, Mary Glenn Crutchley, Lauralea Toms, Julie Ann Crutchley, Jennifer Leigh Offutt, Todd J. Offutt and Jason Glenn Offutt; two great-grandchildren, Aaron Scott Offutt, Stacey Toms; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Monday, Feb 1, and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 2, at Stauffer Funeral Home 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday and Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb 3, from the funeralome chapel. The Rev. Robert S. McEllroy and the Rev. David C. Dawson will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
