Funeral Mass for Fermin Pena 83, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-June 16, 2012-10:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.

A Rosary will be held on Friday-June 15, 2012-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

Fermin was born on March 6, 1929 in San Mateo, New Mexico and he passed away on June 14, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was retired from the US Postal Service.

He was a Member 3rd Order St. Francis, Member of Knights of Columbus, Member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church and the St. Teresa Choir. He was a Veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his Sisters: Dorothy Pena-McBride of Grants, New Mexico and Sister Lydia Pena, SL of Denver, Colorado; Brothers: Ben Pena and wife Sandra of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Abe Pena and wife Viola of Grants, New Mexico and Eddie Pena and wife Marie of Grants, New Mexico; Nephew: Aurelio Apodaca and wife Linda of Grants, New Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife: Alicia Pena in 2011; Parents: Pablo Pena and Pablita Marquez Pena; Brother: Eloy Pena.

Pallbearers will be: Jesus Apodaca, Albert Barnett, Patricia PenaChambers, Melissa MacEachran, Paula Ladd, Monica MacEachem.
