Mr. Edwards was a member of Life Tabernacle Church. He was a loving father and grandfather and tried to help people in any way he could.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Earl; brothers, Wilber Edwards and Ray Orville Edwards and sisters, Ina Arnold Whatley and Betty Edwards Broadway.
Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
