Mr. Edwards, 76, was born on April 26, 1937, in Rapides Parish, LA to Oscar and Millie White Edwards. He was a retired pipefitter and member of the Steamfitter and Pipeline workers Union Local # 247 Alexandria. Being an avid outdoorsman, he loved to raise and tend to his horses and cows and enjoyed doing a little horse trading, buying, and selling. A loving husband, daddy, and grandfather, he loved to listen to gospel music.
Preceding him in death was his son; Donnie Edwards, parents: Oscar and Millie White Edwards, sisters: Betty Broadway, Ina Whatley, and brothers: Harold , Wilbur; and Ray O Edwards.
Survivors are his loving wife of 56 years of Simpson; One daughter and son-in-law of Simpson; Three sons and daughters-in-law; Brother and sister-in-law of Simpson; Ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Services were under the care of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville.
