MRS. JOHN H. JOHNS.
Mrs. John H. Johns, .Wiconisco's oldest resident, died Thursday of last week of a general breaking up of the system, aged 80 years, 7 months and 15 days. Her husband, who preceded her in death Sept. 13, 1901, was aged 94 years, 5 months and 8 days. Mrs. Johns was the mother of eight children, three sons and 5 daughters, only one of which, J. W. Johns of this place, survives. The funeral was held on Saturday at 2 p. m., interment taking place in Wiconisco cemetery by her husband's side. The pallbearers were: J. J. Murphy, J. H. Mark, A. Q. Williams, Thos. R. Davis, Edward Steever and J. J. Long.
