Orangeburg - The funeral service for Mary Alma Carrigg Robinson, 87, of Orangeburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, with the Rev. Brian Self officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg. She was born June 18, 1924, in Orangeburg County, the daughter of the late Charles Henry Carrigg Sr. and the late Jeanette Ida Fogle Carrigg. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist church. She was the widow of the late Colie L. Blease Robinson. Survivors include a brother, Johnny C. Carrigg of Orangeburg; a special friend, Julius L. (Buddy) May of Orangeburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service at the Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg.
