A retired legal secretary, she was born in Metamora and lived in Swanton since her marriage to her husband Cyril. She had been active in Airstream Trailer International following her retirement after 20 years as a legal secretary. She was a member of St. Richards Church and a former officer of the Rosary Altar Society there, and was also a member of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International, Ohio Unit.
She is survived by her husband, Cyril; sister Mrs. Mildred Gries of Metamora; children Mrs. Frank Vondrak of Glen Ellyn, Ill., Mrs. James Lambert of Swanton and John Camp of Birmingham, Mich.; and 14 grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, Oct. 17 at the Biehl-Malone Funeral Home and St. Richards Church in Swanton, with Rev Robert Holden officiating. Burial was in East Swanton Cemetery.
The family requests that any contributions be made to St Richards Church.
At the funeral, pall bearers were the 12 oldest grandchildren. Roses were presented at the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary by the two youngest granddaughters. Sr. LaSalette Camp was the organist, and nephews Fr. Alfred Camp of Mississippi and Fr. Paul Camp of Toledo co-celebrated the mass with Rev. Holden.
