Cyril "Cy" A. Camp, 80, of Scott Rd., Swanton, died Saturday. Nov. 6, after a short illness.

He worked as production supervisor at Doehler-Jarvis for 30 years, retiring 22 years ago. After retiring, Camp worked as a die cast consultant for several years.

He was a member of St. Richard Church, the Knights of Columbus, Valleywood Golf Club. the Lucas County Mounted Sheriff's Posse and the management association of Doehler-Jarvis.

Camp was also on the Swanton Township Zoning Board for many years. He was active in his church, serving as the first chairman of St. Richard's festival and he worked on the new church building committee.

Camp was preceded in death by his wife, Opal, and granddaughter, Leslie Lambert.

Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Vondrak of Glen Ellyn, Ill.. and Betty Lambert of Swanton, son, John Camp of Birmingham, Mich: 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and sister, Cornelia Schwind of Merrill. Mich.

The funeral mass was held Wednesday, Nov. 10 at St Richard Church with Rev. Stephen Cairns officiating. Interment was in East Swanton Cemetery.
