HORNELL, Aug. 31. — Peter T. Ackerman, 45 years old, a machinist, is dead at his home, No. 165 River Street.. He was standing besides his car, near Canisteo, fixing the horn when he was stricken with heart disease. Mr. Ackerman was carried into a nearby house but died before a physician could reach him. He is survived by his widow and two children, Bernlce and Gladys Ackerman of this city, his mother, Mrs. Deborah Ackerman of Bath, also two sisters and a brother.
