WEST COLUMBIA - Adine Johnson Lybrand, 94, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012. Born in Windsor, SC, she was the last surviving child of the late Joseph Allen Johnson and Ada Redd Johnson. She was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters and 6 half brothers and sisters. Survivors include her devoted husband of 70 years, George Marion Lybrand; daughters, Elaine Lybrand Teague and Brenda Lybrand Venuti (Joseph); grandchildren, David Thomas Teague (Larisa), Shannon Teague Wilson (John), Daniel Lybrand Teague (Ashley), Rachel Venuti Bullock (Paul), Sarah Venuti Yates (Philip); great-grandchildren, Kayla Wilson, Emily Teague, Abigail Wilson, Matthew Teague, Megan Wilson, Kaitlyn Fisher and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lybrand was a long-time member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and became a member of Springdale Baptist Church after moving to West Columbia over 30 years ago. She was devoted to the Lord, her family and her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Springdale Baptist Church, 357 Wattling Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, and will be officiated by Pastor Tommy McGill. Interment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Teague, Daniel Teague, John Wilson, John Paul Bullock III, Rev. Lenwood Williams, and Jeryl Johnson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 820 W. Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
